The New Orleans Saints are not a team with particularly lofty expectations for the upcoming season, Kellen Moore's first one as an NFL head coach. That being said, EA Sports' Madden franchise has some faith in the talent wearing black and gold.
New Orleans' rating is higher than you may expect, and they are ahead of some teams that the consensus believes will find more success this season.
According to social media graphics and the Madden beta database, the Saints have an 83 overall rating as of now for Madden's beta this year. That rating ranks 17th in the league.
The Saints are ahead of an impressive Los Angeles Rams team, the Green Bay Packers, Chicago Bears, and Seattle Seahawks. New Orleans has the same overall as the Houston Texans and Minnesota Vikings, which may come as a shock to plenty of folks.
For the beta, I am guessing that the rating for the Saints has some impressive individual overall ratings on their defense.
On the website for Madden NFL 26 beta, it specifically notes: "We can’t wait to tell you more about upcoming features & details in Madden NFL 26 via our Gridiron Notes, so stay tuned! We want to remind you that playbooks, ratings, and players in the closed beta are not final, and will be updated before the World Wide Launch of Madden NFL 26."

Demario Davis, Tyrann Mathieu, and Chase Young are probably all notable pieces for the video game's system. Not to mention, the high-end overall of players like Alvin Kamara, Chris Olave, and maybe even free agent signing Justin Reid could be making a difference for their squad.
