Madison LeCroy shared a fiery response to critics who didn't think she and husband Brett Randle implemented enough safety measures around her pool to keep her kids Hudson and Teddi safe.
Madison LeCroy is setting the record straight.
The Southern Charm star clapped back after receiving criticism for not implementing enough safety measures around her pool area for her 12-year-old son Hudson and her baby girl Teddi, born July 3.
"I totally get the concern," Madison wrote in a July 18 Instagram Story, "but just to clear it up by the time Teddi is crawling, all the safety measures will be in place."
The 34-year-old went on to specifically address backlash she received from one critic, who commented on a photo she previously posted of her inground pool, saying, "Please get a safety fence or pool cover."
"It's summer," Madison said. "So no, we're not putting a cover on the pool right now."
And while the reality TV personality wasn't open to the pool cover suggestion, she assured her followers that she was taking other steps to make the backyard area safe for Hudson—who she shares with ex Josh Hughes—and Teddi, who she shares with husband Brett Randle.
"Just like I did with Hudson, we'll be starting swim lessons at 6 months to a year," Madison continued. "I promise."

Noting that she and Brett, 38, are "very aware of the risks and will make it as safe as possible," she added, "I just don't want to have to explain this every time I post a pool photo."
It's no surprise Madison didn't let her trolls get to her. After all, the hair stylist has made it clear she feels confident in her role as a mother.
As Madison put it during a Feb. 11 appearance on the Southern Charm After Show, "The best thing about myself is being a mom."

In fact, she credits her motherhood journey with giving her purpose in life.
"I know a lot of moms will say that, but I really do believe that without Hudson, I wouldn't be here," Madison shared. "I wouldn't be the person that I am, and I'm just so thankful."
