Maple Leafs' Hildeby to start vs. Blue Jackets, Kampf scratched

The Toronto Maple Leafs will have to wait a little bit longer to see Joseph Woll return to game action.

Head coach Craig Berube confirmed that Dennis Hildeby will be between the pipes for the Maple Leafs when they take on the Columbus Blue Jackets on Tuesday night — his second start of the season.

Berube added that while Woll is "close," he's not quite ready to return to the lineup.

Hildeby last started Oct. 10, when he stopped 21 out of 23 shots to lift the Maple Leafs over the New Jersey Devils.

Anthony Stolarz, who played on Monday in a win over the Tampa Bay Lightning will serve as backup.

Berube also announced that Ryan Reaves will slot into the lineup in place of David Kampf, who was healthy scratched.

Kampf, 29, played 12:28 on Monday and finished minus-one. In six games so far this season, he's registered one assist.

Reaves last played on Oct. 19, when he saw 8:36 of ice time.
