Seeing their extended family bond made for some fun and humorous moments. However, the ladies eventually fell out. Melissa Gorga was accused of lying by Kathy Wakile, but Margaret Josephs defends her RHONJ co-star

Kathy recently shared that she had met with Melissa for lunch. However, when Melissa appeared on Jeff Lewis Live, she acted like they hadn’t seen each other yet. She even said that she was going to try and reconcile with her cousin-in-law, and new neighbor. So, Kathy called Melissa’s comments during the interview “strange” since the duo “had already met” and “cleared the air.”

When Margaret stopped by SiriusXM’s Page Six Radio, she spilled all the tea. “I did know about that lunch. Melissa had told me, and Kathy told me because we go to the same hairdresser,” Margaret explained. She added that Melissa “was keeping silent because she was asked to keep silent” and was “respecting family boundaries.”

The RHONJ star continued, “Melissa said to me, ‘Don’t tell anybody. Kathy asked me not to say anything.’” She stated that Melissa “was not going to use it for clout or to make a story about it.”

As for Kathy’s motivations? Margaret was in the dark. “I don’t know why Kathy said that,” Margaret said, pointing out that her friend “was being kind” by honoring Kathy’s wishes. Plus, Margaret noted that the meeting was “a private moment,” calling Kathy’s comments “very disappointing” to her.
