With the ongoing waiting game regarding the future of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, stars of the show are making peace with whatever Bravo executives decide to do. Margaret Josephs, for one, would be ready to walk away from the series entirely.
Until Bravo announces when RHONJ is coming back, there is little to do but speculate. And while Margaret may be ok with not returning, Dolores Catania, likened the situation to a “death.”
Margaret Josephs not desperate for RHONJ return
Margaret told Us Weekly that she would “love to” return, however, she is enjoying being removed from the chaos. RHONJ last season was described as toxic, to the point that the cast could not even film together as a whole.
“Do I feel sad we’re not filming? It’s a welcome break, I’m not going to lie,” Margaret shared. “It’s relaxing and fun, but, of course, I’d love to go back.”
Margaret had a proper handle on the drama during her time on RHONJ. She took on the original star, Teresa Giudice, on more than one occasion since her addition to the cast on Season 7. It made her a fan favorite for those viewers on Team Melissa Gorga. RHONJ, should it continue without Margaret, wouldn’t be the same.
When is RHONJ coming back? There’s no definitive answer to when RHONJ is coming back to Bravo, as the cast hasn’t even yet been solidified…
Should Bravo executives confirm another season of RHONJ, Margaret suggested that a perfect cast would be herself, “my friends and some new people thrown in.”
She’s certainly not friendly with the entire cast. The Bravolebrity admittedly is still “very close” to Melissa, Dolores, Rachel Fuda, Jennifer Fessler, and Danielle Cabral. But Margaret wishes all her costars luck in the future, should the former cast be let go.
“I love everybody to work and have a successful career. I think some friendships have gone past where they belong. And you know what? If it’s not me, then that’s fine too,” Margaret stated. “I have a beautiful life.”
Margaret would accept not being invited to return. She commented on the potential circumstance, “If that’s what the Bravo Gods want, that’s fine for me. I’ve had a great ride.”
