Andy Cohen might be sitting on some news about the future of The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
During “Las Culturistas” podcast hosts Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers’ appearance on Watch What Happens Live on Monday, August 4, Rogers, 35, wished for the return of RHONJ during his brief (but powerful) “I Don’t Think So, Honey” rant.

“OK, I don’t think so, honey — I love ya — we need answers about New Jersey,” Rogers told Cohen, 57. “I am an American standing on American ground and while we still have free speech, you’re on notice Andy Cohen.”
Cohen, meanwhile, jokingly turned his chair around during Rogers’ moment.
“We need to know what is happening with the women of New Jersey,” Rogers continued. “You know my opinion, I believe that we should center the show around — I’m sorry, everyone — everyone except Teresa [Guidice].”
Rogers explained he wants Giudice and her husband, Luis “Louie” Ruelas, to have their own show.
“God bless!” he added. “But I feel we have a show here. I miss my girls, I want my Jersey back.”
Cohen responded with a pretty surprising update about RHONJ.
“We’re close,” he said, playing coy about what that actually means.
RHONJ has been put on a hiatus following its 14th season, which ended in August 2024 with most of the cast at odds. (The season’s reunion was canceled after several stars couldn’t be in the same room together.)
In December 2024, Cohen told Us Weekly that fans wouldn’t get a RHONJ update for a “year.” Us confirmed the following February that there have been no casting decisions made, despite fans wanting answers.
“All of them have been in contact with production, but not with any news,” a source told Us at the time. “There’s still an open line of communication but no news on who is coming back or who is not coming back.”
The same insider shared that “production wants the show to come back” and is willing to “see how they can make it work.”
Bravo told Us at the time that “no decisions have been made around casting for RHONJ.”
Cohen has been faced with several questions about the future of RHONJ over recent months, sharing that there won’t be any news until 2026. Monday’s WWHL episode marked the first time he gave any hint at an upcoming announcement.
“It was really on a deep pause and we are actively there casting and looking at the future of what that will be,” Cohen said during an appearance on The View in June. “It’s a great franchise, and we love it. I just have to reiterate that.”
Season 14 of RHONJ starred Giudice along with Melissa Gorga, Dolores Catania, Jennifer Aydin, Margaret Josephs, Rachel Fuda and Danielle Cabral. Jackie Goldschneider and Jennifer Fessler appeared as “friends.”
