One Story Ends

The action in this Days of Our Lives spoilers video preview for the week of July 21 begins as Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) opens the door to Doug III (Peyton Meyer), with his bags packed and ready to hit the road. “I’m really sorry,” he tells her. Julie, who has been angry with him for months, softens and says, “You have a great deal of potential.” She watches him from the doorway as he leaves Salem and puts all the trouble he caused behind him.

One Life Starts

The scene switches to Marlena’s townhouse, where Tate (Leo Howard) is on the phone while Brady (Eric Martsolf) stands close by. “Are you okay?” Tate worriedly asks Sophia (Rachel Boyd). She finally drops her bomb on him. “I had the baby already,” she tells him. His face registers the shock.

And the Clock Keeps Ticking

Belle (Martha Madison) and EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) are at Marlena’s (Deidre Hall), talking with her. “I’m willing to try anything to find the culprit,” EJ tells the psychiatrist. Marlena puts him under hypnosis and begins to ask her former son-in-law questions. “Who are you talking to? Tell me what you saw,” she says, as EJ becomes agitated by the memory.

And Ticking

Meanwhile, Gwen (Emily O’Brien) encounters Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) in Horton Town Square. “Run into him while you were living there?” Gabi coyly asks, referring to her ex-husband Stefan. But nothing gets past Gwen. “Looks like Dimitri might not be the only DiMera who’s gone MIA,” Gwen taunts.

Until Time…

Holly (Ashley Puzemis) and Ari (Marissa Reyes) are running out of chances and realize they need to act fast if they’re going to save their own lives. They find what looks like a secret tunnel. “If we can get this grate off, we can use it to crawl our way to freedom,” Ari suggests as the young women try just that, but then something goes wrong as one of them screams, “Something’s happening!”

Runs Out

In the courtroom, Marlena seems to faint against Abe’s (James Reynolds) shoulder. A worried Belle rushes over and says, “Mom, wake up!” Johnny (Carson Boatman) and EJ share a look of concern.
