Martha Stewart may be a domestic diva, but she’s no housewife!
Andy Cohen has said that Bravo is “heavily” casting a new season of “The Real Housewives of New York City” — and we’ve heard summer buzz that producers wanted to woo Stewart to the reality show.
A source told Page Six: “The producers are talking about it as they interview new people, as they’re planning to bring the show back.”
The source also said: “Martha Stewart is in talks with Andy Cohen to become a New York housewife.”
But when we reached out to the famed foodie, her longtime rep Susan Magrino shot down the rumors, saying, “not Martha,” and adding, “She says she is not a ‘Housewife.'”
A Bravo rep also shot down the rumor, saying it’s not true.
Page Six has heard buzz that Martha Stewart was being wooed by Bravo.
But the domestic diva says she’s “not a housewife.”
Stewart, 84, has appeared on Cohen’s “Watch What Happens Live,” and has said that Luann de Lesseps’ ex-husband, Tom D’Agostino Jr., did not return her favorite apple pie dish and that he messed up the great decor of an apartment she once lived in when he turned it into a bachelor pad.
She’s also had a yearslong so-called “friendly rivalry” with ex “RHONY” star Bethenny Frankel.
Besides Stewart, there has also been speculation that “Summer House” stars Paige DeSorbo and Lindsay Hubbard could join the “RHONY” cast.
Stewart just launched her own skincare line.
She’s previously appeared on Andy Cohen’s “Watch What Happens Live.”
But, the show’s Jessel Taank recently exclusively told “Page Six Radio,” “I’ve hung out with Paige, I’ve hung out with Lindsay separately . . . I think, to me, it would be so cool because they’re already very well known in the Bravoverse.”
She added, “I would be so curious to see that dynamic, ’cause everyone’s got a strong personality and they’re familiar with the process and how this reality TV thing works, so yeah. I would love it. I mean, Lindsay’s a new mom. She’s great. I hung out with her. We went to Kentucky Derby together actually. It was super fun. She’s great.”
Stewart just launched her own skincare line, Elm Biosciences.
