The Montreal Canadiens are on the verge of elimination, and after some tough losses, the team are hearing it from Martin St. Louis at practice.

Martin St. Louis Loses it at Canadiens Practice Ahead of Possible Elimination in Game 5

After a huge win in Game 3 in front of a raucous crowd in Montreal, the Canadiens fell in Game 4, and now find themselves trailing 3-1 in their first round Stanley Cup Playoffs series with the Washington Capitals.

While some are simply excited that this young, up-and-coming team made it as far as they did, the feeling within the team is that they can compete with Washington, and even cause an upset in round one.

Now, they face elimination in Game 5, so it's time to prove they can step up and compete with the best of the best, and ahead of that game, Head Coach Martin St. Louis has blown up at his team at their latest practice.

Video footage of the incident shows St. Louis screaming at his young team ahead of practice, clearly letting out some frustration over the way things had been going on the ice, with his passion and his belief in the young team clearly shining through.

In every game thus far in the series, Montreal have fought hard and been in the game for much of the 60 minutes, and while they've managed just one victory, it's safe to say that in the past week and over the past eight months, the positives far outweigh the negatives for this team.

Ultimately though, MSL is the type of coach to expect the best out of his team at all times, and while it's been a positive year, he believes this team can achieve much more, so it's no surprise to see his tirade at practice as this team gears up to save themselves from elimination.
