Buying Beverly Hills’ time with Netflix has come to an end.

The scripted reality series will end after two seasons on the streaming platform. Deadline first reported the news on Friday, Aug. 16.

The show debuted in 2022 and had its season two release in March. It followed Mauricio Umansky's family-run real estate firm, The Agency. The business “represents some of the most lavish properties in Beverly Hills,” per an official synopsis.

Umansky's estranged wife Kyle Richards, their daughter Alexia, 28, and Richards' daughter Farrah, 35, also starred on the show. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 55, was only present in season two.

Sources told Deadline the cancellation had to do with the viewing numbers versus the cost of production.

When season two arrived, much of Umansky, 54, and Richards' marital issues played out in front of the cameras.

In one episode, news of their separation became public during a family trip to Aspen, meaning the parents had to find a way to discuss the situation with their kids. Despite their 27-year marriage coming to an end, the two still remained lighthearted with one another.

“I’m getting that in the divorce," Umansky jokingly told the Bravo star after she put on an apron. "That’s my apron. You can borrow it for now.”

"You can have it," she replied, "That's all you're getting."

Eventually, they found time during the trip to bring up the topic with their daughters.

"We should talk about that now that we’re all here by the way. Because coming out of the blue what happened, it kind of blindsided all of us. I know it was a lot,” Richards said.

She added, "I really am sorry about that because it’s not fair to you guys. I’m just used to it."

Their daughter Sophia, 24, told the family hearing the news was hard because they didn’t hear it from the source first.

"This time was different because everyone was reaching out. My phone was blowing up with people reaching out. I opened instagram and it was everywhere. It was definitely hard feeling like maybe I don’t know the whole story,” she said.

Other season two storylines focused on new castmember Michelle Schwartz making harsh comments about Umansky and Richards' daughters’ ability to lead.

While discussing how the girls might one day take over the family business, Schwartz said “they're very capable of selling real estate,” but because they “have the silver platter and the last name, they don't have to work as hard as I did.”

Buying Beverly Hills seasons one and two are currently streaming on Netflix.
