Melissa Gorga Reveals What Goes Down on "Sundays at the Shore House"

Melissa Gorga has owned some pretty incredible homes throughout the years, but none compare to her waterfront shore house.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom proved this once again over the weekend, when she took fans inside her fun-filled get-together at her home away from home. Melissa began by posting an Instagram Story of her shore house's sprawling deck, right before she and her husband, Joe Gorga, hosted a BBQ for their friends and family.

“Home sweet home,” the post read. “Good old Jersey shore.”

Melissa went on to share some footage of the at-home gathering, starting with a shot from her kitchen.

“Sundays at the shore house,” she said while stirring a pot of vegetables. “Broccoli rabe sautéing. We’re cooking it up.”

Melissa then made her way onto the deck, where her hubby, Joe, was grilling out with his pals.

“This is where the men belong, if you ask me, guys," she joked while highlighting the assortment of hot dogs, sausages, peppers, and hamburgers. “Look at this! This smells so good. I’m so proud of you. All the guys are assisting.”

The mother of three turned the camera toward Barnegat Bay, capturing the sunny skies and crisp blue water.

“Gorgeous day at the Jersey Shore… Look at the weather,” she said before filming her youngest son, Joey Jr., and daughter, Antonia, hanging out with their friends. “Just a gorgeous day on the shore.”,

Shortly after the cookout, Joe hopped on Instagram to provide a peek at Antonia’s pool day with her crew. The group was seen relaxing on a pool lounger and catching some rays before Joe pulled out a water hose and began spraying them.

“Got em!” he captioned the clip, which concluded with his laugh.

Antonia reshared the amusing moment on Instagram, writing: “The evil laugh… is he kidding?”

Why Melissa Gorga decided against selling her shore house

Melissa and Joe, who also share teenage son Gino, purchased the Toms River property in 2019 for $1 million. The couple spent the following year updating the six-bedroom, five-bathroom house, which boasts an open-concept layout, floor-to-ceiling windows, wood floors, and a large deck complete with a pool, fire pits, and a kitchenette.

Several years later, Melissa and Joe confirmed they had listed the shore house for more than $2 million, as they planned to purchase another vacation home in the Hamptons; however, the couple ultimately got “cold feet” and “pulled it off the market.”

“We’re not going to sell the shore house,” Melissa told BravoTV.com. “I think I decided that even if we get something in the Hamptons as well, we’re not going to. I have the best property for where I grew up. And I’m like, you can’t rebuy the piece of property that I have in Toms River.”
