Meredith Marks Claims Her RHOSLC Castmates Spread 'a Lot of Lies' About Her in the New Season

Meredith Marks says there are "rumors and nastiness" shared about her in the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.

As the Bravolebrity spoke exclusively with PEOPLE at the 2025 Las Culturistas Culture Awards, she divulged what fans can expect from the forthcoming sixth season of the hit series.

The DJ, 53, explained to PEOPLE that it “will be an interesting season to see unfold.”

“Basically, you know, a lot of lies about me [were shared],” she continued. “So I don't really know what's happening. To be honest, I'm a little confused.”

“But I'm sure it will be amazing TV. It was very crazy,” she said.

“I don't, quite frankly, understand 90% of it myself,” she reiterated, before concluding, “So hard to tell you what's coming. There are a lot of lies about me that much I do know.”

While Marks could only say so much about the season, her castmate Lisa Barlow confirmed to PEOPLE that it will be “a crazy season,” as she explained how it feels “so different.”

“For some of the new girls, I don't think they get how different the cast and show has been in the past,” Barlow, 50, noted. “It is a different show. I feel like it's weird. Like, good weird.”

As she revealed that “it's different” for her and her castmates, she added, “it'll feel very different to the audience.” But she reassuringly confirmed that it's “still dramatic, like some of them need to chill.”

Despite feeling unlike other seasons for Barlow, Bronwyn Newport, who will return for her second season, told PEOPLE that the show “is more fun for us to film than it sometimes looks when you watch it.”

Additionally, original cast member Heather Gay confirmed that their experiences will still lend well to the screen. “Listen, Salt Lake City always brings it,” the 51-year-old author said at the event. “I will say that we do shine in confined spaces, and we find ourselves in more than just a sprinter van this season.”
