The fan-favorite has been a staple on the franchise since it premiered in 2020, but reports have been circulating that she was forced to stop filming mid-season due to alleged comments made about her co-star.
Fans were shocked to read that Meredith, 53, was reportedly suspended from RHOSLC - but The U.S. Sun can exclusively reveal that the news is false.
"Meredith has not been suspended from the show,” an insider claimed.
The source continued: “She is not pleased about the rumors and nastiness, pun intended.
“She wouldn't be surprised if the call was coming from inside the house and Brittani was leaking all of this herself to stay relevant.
"Meredith and Brittani get into some pretty nasty altercations and have some blowout fights but nothing that warrants a suspension.”
The insider claimed that the root of some of their fights stemmed from political differences, while other topics they argued over were more personal and “hit below the belt.”
The rumor started on Wednesday when a Bravo fan account posted on X: “ALLEGEDLY Meredith got suspended for flipping out on Britani after a huge fight.”
Many ran with the claims - with other accounts alleging Meredith, 53, is also feuding this season with co-stars Whitney Rose, Heather Gay and Angie Katsanevas.
The ladies are currently filming season 6 of the Bravo hit show and were photographed during their cast trips to the Caribbean, Milwaukee and Palm Springs.
All of the women from last season are expected to return this year, with Lisa Barlow, Mary Cosby and Bronwyn Newport also joining Meredith, Britani, Heather, Whitney and Angie.
IT'S BRITANI, B***H
Newcomer Britani, 53, made a polarizing debut on RHOSLC when she first appeared in season 5.
Her first season largely revolved around her on-again-off-again relationship with Jared Osmond - who is the nephew of entertainment legend Donny Osmond.
The Donny & Marie star does not seem to be overly supportive of being associated with the show, telling E! News in January of his reaction to the show: "I understand it's a little bit risqué,
“But to each his own I guess. I haven't watched it, but good for him. There's a lot of Osmonds,” he added.
Despite the couple breaking up numerous times last season, Britani and Jared are still together - for now.
Jared was spotted this month filming with the RHOSLC house husbands, including Justin Rose and Seth Marks at an outdoor BBQ.
Britani introduced Jared and their complex dynamic on the RHOSLC season 5 premiere, saying: “Jared and I have been dating eight months, and we've broken up 16 times, I want to say...
“I feel like I'm on this hamster wheel of dating other people, breaking up, and getting back together.
“It's like, 'Ugh, I'm a crazy person,' but there's just something about him. Mm, he's yummy.”
She revealed later in the season that she had broken up with him “for good” after finding “shady stuff” from him “going on behind her back.”
“He was on a dating app and wouldn't show me his phone,” she told co-star Lisa.
They have appeared to have worked out their differences though, because Brittani has been happily posting with Jared in recent weeks.
RHOSLC season 6 will air on Bravo later this Fall.
