Meredith Marks Teases RHOSLC Secret Recordings Drama: ‘I May Owe an Apology’
Mea culpa? Not exactly. Meredith Marks is the (unofficial) Ice Queen of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. A title she has continued to live up to as Season 5 of the hit franchise has played out. The bathtub enthusiast seems to be comfortable with her continued beef with, well, pretty much everyone. But even Meredith has limits.
In the recent RHOSLC midseason trailer, we saw Mer raging over secret recordings. But what’s really going on?
A RHOSLC season full of surprises and alleged secret recordings
In a recent interview with Life & Style, Meredith admitted that she isn’t so sure she’s got all her facts straight.
“There are two different recording issues that you’ll see. I am curious to see it all play out myself because I have certain doubts of things that I thought were very true that may not be so I may owe an apology, maybe,” she teased.
This admission came on the heels of the recently released midseason trailer. In the preview of what’s to come, Meredith accuses a cast member of planting a recording device in her room. Eek!
“I’m pretty clear that the problem is that I’m dealing with a group of women who historically have tried to pour gas on the fire and make situations worse for me, not just in my marriage but also in my friendships. So, it’s a little more intimidating with this particular group than it is in most settings,” Meredith explained.
One of Meredith’s most notable problems right now is castmate Whitney Rose. Bestie/sometimes nemesis Lisa Barlow fell out with Whitney over rumors about her PRISM jewelry line. A topic that Meredith is responsible for dredging up.
At the start of the season, Meredith called out a social media post accusing Whitney of using a cheaper end-jewelry maker for her high-end line of baubles. Lisa was supposedly the culprit, despite denying the claim.
That fight has stoked the flames between Meredith and Whitney. “There are different people getting along with different [people],” she explained. “I mean you can see there’s very serious tension between Lisa and Whitney as we’ve seen already. And the tension between me and Whitney is pretty high as well,”
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
