May the celebrations be filled with goal horns and bright lights!
From all of us here at Mile High Hockey, I’d like to thank all of you for a fun 2024 and appreciate all of your support on social media and reading along! None of this would be possible without you and your fandom of the Colorado Avalanche.
We’ve added several new writers in the last year and have been looking ahead in terms of coverage for the hundreds of thousands of readers per month. We’ve also increased our internet presence through our Mile High Hockey Lab Podcast with episodes weekly and whenever there is any breaking news, which has found great success.
Our staff has also increased coverage up and down the hockey highway in Colorado. More introduction of the AHL-affiliate Colorado Eagles coverage, alongside the reigning and 10-time NCAA national champion Denver Pioneers just shows how strong hockey is in Colorado at all levels.
As we look ahead to 2025, the days are hopefully looking up. The Avs are slowly but surely getting healthy and have new netminders leading the way both on and off the ice. The Eagles have hot-shot prospects like Nikita Prishchepov who has even gotten time in the NHL and the team is moving to a new Northern Colorado arena in the coming years. And finally, the Pios are still the Pios ranking towards the top of the college hockey world.
If you get any Avalanche, Eagles, or Pioneers gear, be sure to share it with us on our Twitter page and new Bluesky page (follow us if you aren’t already!) so we can repost it and show everyone the great gifts you get.
Once again, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all of our listeners, readers, and followers!
