Michael Corinthos Actor Chad Duell Breaks Instagram Silence with Powerhouse Mantra!

General Hospital Spoilers: Chad Duell Breaks His Instagram Silence With Inspirational WordsGeneral Hospital spoilers and updates reveal Chad Duell, formerly Michael Corinthos on the ABC soap, broke his social media silence on Instagram with some inspirational words.

He revealed he has a dream to chase, after some time away from social media, encouraging fans and followers to chase theirs too, before it’s too late to chase them.

Chad Duell Played Michael Corinthos For Nearly Fifteen Years

When Duell said goodbye to the soap that had been his home for almost fifteen years, his character Michael was sent to a hospital in Germany. This was for a long recovery following severe burns from the penthouse explosion when he was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Some think it could have been orchestrated by Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) but currently, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) are suspecting Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) as the culprit.

Initially, this created an opportunity for Duell to potentially come back to GH in the future. But during the 2025 Nurses Ball, Rory Gibson, known from The Young and the Restless, took over the role.

Duell Breaks His Month-Long Social Media Silence

Recently, Duell has ended his month-long silence on Instagram by sharing a photo along with an uplifting caption: “Dreams don’t care how tired you are.” “You either want it bad enough to bleed for it, or you’ll watch someone else live the life you were too scared to chase,” he expressed, adding a muscle emoji for emphasis.

His post received numerous comments from fans who have been missing him on GH, while also complimenting Gibson’s portrayal of the character.

“I love him as Michael, but the new Michael is doing a fabulous job,” one fan commented, while another resonated with Duell’s message, stating, “Missing you on GH, but time to chase the next dream.”

Kirsten Storms Riled By A Fan Comment About Chad On Her Own Leave Of Absence

Kirsten Storms, who plays Maxie Jones on the ABC soap, another long running character, became riled when someone commented about Chad’s exit when announcing her own leave of absence.

In the fan’s defense, it wasn’t exactly clear what the situation was when Chad left, and Frank Valentini had made a public statement that the door would always be open for Chad’s return.

Kirsten clarified the situation when reacting to the fan’s comment about a door being open for Chad; here’s what she said.

“To clarify, Chad made the decision to fully exit the show; nobody at ABC gave away ‘his’ position,” she stated in reply to what she construed as a critical remark towards Frank.

But it’s easy to see why the fan would be concerned-after all, they told the former Lulu Spencer, Kirsten’s good friend Emme Rylan the same thing and Lulu was recast too.
