Miles Morales Joins The MCU In Striking Spider-Man 4 Concept Poster

A new fan-made concept poster for Marvel Studios' Spider-Man 4 imagines Miles Morales as the focus of the upcoming MCU sequel. Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures quickly confirmed plans for Spider-Man 4, starring Tom Holland as the titular wall-crawler, Peter Parker, after the successful release of 2021's Spider-Man: No Way Home. MCU veteran Destin Daniel Cretton was reportedly hired to direct Spider-Man 4 in September, with Spider-Man franchise writers Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers returning, but speculation suggests the movie won't only focus on one version of Spider-Man.

While Tom Holland is expected to reprise the role of Peter Parker's Spider-Man in the MCU's future, there has also been speculation regarding the possible live-action debut of Miles Morales. Anticipation has been high for Miles Morales to finally appear in the MCU, especially after the huge success of Sony's animated Spider-Verse movies. Miles Morales' much-wanted MCU introduction has now been imagined in a striking fan-made concept poster for Marvel Studios' Spider-Man 4 shared by bosslogic, which depicts a vibrant and exciting first adventure for Brooklyn's own Spider-Man.

What Miles Morales’ Spider-Man 4 Debut Would Mean For The MCU

Miles Morales was a very popular addition to the Marvel Universe following his Marvel Comics debut in 2011's Ultimate Fallout #4. Since Tom Holland debuted as Peter Parker back in 2016's Captain America: Civil War, there has been speculation of Miles Morales joining him as Spider-Man in the MCU. This was only exacerbated by Donald Glover's appearance as Aaron Davis, Miles' Uncle Aaron, in Spider-Man: Homecoming, a role which he later reprised in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, which saw him kitted out in the purple Prowler costume.

Marvel Studios introducing Miles Morales in the MCU's Spider-Man 4 would pay off these teases and give more weight to Aaron Davis' appearances in previous movies. Aaron Davis is to Miles Morales what Uncle Ben is to Peter Parker, so this could be a great way for Marvel to finally display a Spider-Man origin story in the MCU - something which Homecoming avoided. As a key character in Spider-Man's multiversal stories in Marvel Comics, too, Miles Morales would make for a significant and understandable addition to the Multiverse Saga.

Our Take On Miles Morales’ Possible Spider-Man 4 Debut

Miles Morales realizing he's in trouble in Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse

After Spider-Man: No Way Home ended with everyone forgetting Peter Parker, leaving him completely alone in the world, it would be fantastic to see Miles Morales brought into his world. Instead of Peter Parker getting a new mentor, he could become a guide for the young Miles Morales, perhaps allowing him to eventually take over as Spider-Man permanently. Miles Morales has a huge role in Marvel Comics' Secret Wars event from 2015, so his debut in the MCU in Spider-Man 4, likely releasing prior to 2027's Avengers: Secret Wars, would make a great deal of sense.
