The last week has seen Soto meet with several teams. After meeting with the Toronto Blue Jays and the Boston Red Sox, Soto and his agent Scott Boras met with Hal Steinbrenner , the owner of the New York Yankees.

In the upcoming days, he will continue to meet with more owners including New York Mets’ Steve Cohen . However, according to Olney, teams involved in this rumored $600 million sweepstakes can start forwarding their offers from this week.

Forwarding offers is a massive step in this process. Teams can now pitch their offer to Soto and Boras while trying to make a good impression on him.

Apart from the Blue Jays, Red Sox, Yankees, and the Mets, the Philadelphia Phillies, and the 2024 World Series champions, Los Angeles Dodgers are said to be in pursuit of the Dominican international.

Aaron Judge admits speaking with Yankees owner Hal Steinbrenner regarding Juan Soto

Recently, New York Yankees owner Hal Steinbrenner claimed that the team was 100 percent committed to re-signing Juan Soto to the team. As per reports from the New York Post, Aaron Judge has also spoken with Steinbrenner regarding the outfielder.

As per Bryan Hoch, Judge has not spoken with Juan Soto regarding his future. The Yankees captain claimed it was best to give him and the other free agents time to think. However, the 2024 American League MVP has spoken with the team owner regarding this matter.

We discussed a lot of things. From Juan to other guys that are out there that I think could definitely help this team. The more communication you have, top to bottom, makes everybody better. It comes with being in the position I’m in and being captain, as well. The fact they’re listening and want to know what we have to say is a pretty cool part of it.

Aaron Judge said as per New York Post

Judge and Soto formed a dynamic partnership in the offense this year. The two superstars hit a combined total of 99 home runs last season (Judge 58, Soto 41) as they led the team to their first World Series since 2009.

These performances saw them being named as Silver Slugger Awards and were also part of the AL MVP race. While, Judge took home that honor unanimously, Soto finished third in the ranking behind Bobby Witt Jr. , who came second.
