Team USA clinched a place in the finals after dismantling Finland in the opener and performing a defensive clinic against Canada in one of the most spirited matches in quite some time.

Canada, Finland and Sweden are all tied with two points, creating multiple scenarios. Sweden could make it to the final if they beat the Americans in regulation, and Canada and Finland's fixture goes to overtime. 

If Canada or Finland wins in regulation, they'll head to the final. 

The tournament has been an incredible success. Despite fans claiming the event would be played at a low intensity, the players immediately dispute all of those claims. Fans of other sports have tuned in to watch the best players in the world compete for a trophy, and the quality of the games has delivered. 

The final will be played on Thu, Feb. 20, at TD Garden in Boston, setting the tournament up to finish in a spectacular fashion. The purpose of this tournament was to give fans a chance to watch international hockey but also for coaches and management to get an opportunity to watch certain players before they decide on who makes the Olympic team in 2026.
