Monica Garcia is pregnant! The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City alum confirmed that she is expecting baby No. 5, her first child with boyfriend, Braxton Knight.
The pregnancy news for the couple comes after she suffered a miscarriage last year while she was expecting their baby. The 41-year-old mom of four daughters (from a previous relationship) is very excited about the pregnancy, but she revealed to People that she is feeling so many mixed emotions, especially after coming off of a "whirlwind with RHOSLC," announcing her pregnancy in early April 2024, and then losing the pregnancy weeks later.
Thus, Monica kept the majority of this pregnancy private. "Being able to protect my peace was so important to me this pregnancy," she told People on March 4, while confirming the news. "I'm grateful for those who have stood beside me, to the amazing fans, and loved ones I do have in my life, but that pregnancy was my lowest point with being in the public eye, and I wasn't going to put myself through that again, for the sake of the pregnancy and the baby."
When is Monica Garcia due?
Monica told the publication that she is due in April 2025. Although she did not give an exact date, she did admit that she told her boyfriend she was pregnant on a trip to Disneyland, where she had "Aries Baby" written on a pair of infant ears. That would put the baby's arrival between March 21 and April 19.
Monica also admitted that she isn't finding out the baby's sex until their arrival and has "no names" picked out, making so much of this pregnancy a surprise for the mom of four.

Monica has kept the info of her boyfriend's life private as well, choosing to only share some small details about him, like that he's younger than her. Monica appeared on the podcast, The Viall Files in April 11 2024, where she revealed that she had met him while filming RHOSLC Season 4.
"I've been dating him for a year, and no one even knows who he is...We actually met during filming. I met him filming," she admitted.

Monica took to Instagram last year in April 2024, where she revealed that she could not find her baby's heartbeat and had suffered a miscarriage. "I don't have many words and I'm still processing all of this myself," she wrote in a now-deleted Instagram post. "As quickly as this happened, that's how quickly things have changed. I am sending so much love to everyone dealing with miscarriages, fertility issues, pregnancy problems, if you have an angel baby, and everything in-between."
Monica told People that having an "unexpected pregnancy and miscarriage at 40" was devastating to her. "The entire time I was going through all of that, the world chose to spit on me and continue to kick me when I was down," she said.

Monica told the publication that she has relied on her faith throughout her pregnancy with her 5th child. "God has been there for me every step of the way," she said. "I have been so blessed and been silent about it all. I just hope someone reads this and it resonates with them on some level. Reminds them that no matter what people do to you, or try to take from you, they can NEVER take what God has for you."
