General Hospital alum Bryan Craig has been name-dropping his ill-fated character a lot lately. So much so that you would think that a return has to be in the offing. But it doesn’t sound like it is — not yet, anyway. On July 13, the Daytime Emmy winner shared to social media a poll inviting fans to say whether they want Morgan Corinthos back in action.
“General Hospital is y’all’s show at the end of the day,” he said. “Love to you no matter what you choose.”
And the results of the poll? Last time we peeked, nearly 95 percent of respondents did want Sonny and Carly’s son to rise from the grave. Not too shabby, that! Of course, you wouldn’t expect Craig’s fans not to wish he’d come back, now would you? Any way you slice it, though, it sounds like the actor is jonesing for Morgan to get the same kind of miracle that is resurrecting Britt this week.
Craig became the first adult Morgan in 2013, stayed with the show until 2016, then reprised his role twice so that Morgan could make spectral visits. In his post-soap career, he recurred on the short-lived CBS drama Valor, was a regular on ABC’s Grand Hotel for its one-and-done season and starred on the last two of Good Trouble’s five seasons.
