Per Variety, 9-1-1: Nashville has added cast members Hailey Kilgore, Michael Provost, Juani Feliz, and Hunter McVey. Along with O'Donnell, they are joining other previously announced series stars, including Jessica Capshaw, LeAnn Rimes, and Kimberly Williams-Paisley.
Kilgore has been cast as "Taylor," a firefighter who also happens to be an "incredible singer." It's likely that her Tony and Grammy Award nominations helped her get the role, which she earned from starring in the Broadway rendition of Once on This Island. She also starred in the Starz TV series Power Book III: Raising Kanana, and appeared in The Village and Amazing Stories. Kilgore also has a solo album debuting this year.
Provost is reportedly playing "Ryan," another firefighter who's described as a "modern-day cowboy." The actor was able to prepare for this role a bit by appearing in Kevin Costner's Western Horizon: An American Saga - Chapter 2. Provost also appeared in the movie The Holdovers as well as the TV shows The Sex Lives of College Girls and Insatiable.
McVey rounds out the new additions with his role as "Blue." This will mark the on-screen debut for McVey. His Blue character is described as a "haunted bad boy who is now a firefighter."
It was previously revealed that O'Donell will play Captain Don Sharpe, a veteran firefighter and former rodeo rider. He is also the father of Ryan, played by new casting addition Provost. Capshaw is playing Blythe Sharpe, Don's wife and Ryan's mother.
