Joss finds Gio and Emma at the Surf Lodge, and they welcome her home from Easter Island. Joss thanks Emma, and explains Trina told her how she saved the Quartermaine crypt. She says Michael doesn’t need any more heartache, especially from his disgusting uncle.
Joss then spots Vaughn walk in. Vaugn picks up an order to go and leaves. Joss then pretends she has to meet her lab partner for notes on what she missed.
Joss takes off, and Gio asks what is up with the frenemy’s vibe between her and Joss. Emma explains that it started when they were kids, and they both had crushes on this guy, Cam. She knows she should let it go, but Joss is entitled and tends to throw money at problems to make them disappear. She says Joss has never paid the price for her actions. Gio says, unlike her, who, for example, got expelled from her old school. She likes that he understands her. Gio would understand more if he knew why she was expelled.
Emma says she had to sign an NDA, so she can’t discuss it. Gio tells her he gets it, but she has the wrong idea about Joss. Giosays Joss has had to deal with multiple boyfriends dying, and she was targeted in revenge porn. Plus, she’s been nothing but kind to him, and she donated to Emma’s fundraiser. Emma says that was so Joss didn’t have to volunteer, and Joss doesn’t believe in anything enough to risk putting herself or her future on the line.
Gio asks if she looks down on him the way she does Joss, as he hasn’t put himself on the line for something either. Emma says she doesn’t look down on Joss, and he has plenty of time to find out what he’s passionate about. He asks about her punishment, and Emma’s fine with picking up garbage as long as it doesn’t make her miss Professor Dalton’s environmental physics class.

Joss Gets an Assignment
Joss tracks down Vaugn eating in the park, and he says it took her long enough. She asks why he’s here. Vaughn informs her that he’s been assigned to be her handler. She doesn’t object, so he suggests they go over the assignment. Vaughn says she needs to resume her PCU studies but will add Dalton’s class to her schedule. It’s the same class Emma is hyped about.

Sasha Talks Jason Down
In the Quartermaine kitchen, Tracy tells Sasha she needs a word with her baby daddy. Sasha has no idea where Jason is. Jason walks in, and Tracy asks him why he was absent when everything went down with his brother and their family crypt. Jason knew Tracy would handle it, and she did. She says his presence would have been nice, especially now that he lives here with his son and the woman he knocked up. Therefore, he needs to step up for this family.
Suddenly, some movers arrive, saying they are here to pick up boxes in storage at the gatehouse and take them to Drew’s new home. Tracy tells them they won’t touch a thing, or she’ll have them arrested for theft, which sends them running.
Tracy can’t believe Willow is packing up Michael’s kids and moving them into Drew’s. Jason says he’ll handle it. Tracy leaves, and Sasha asks what he’s going to do. Jason plans to tell Willow she can’t move in with Drew. Sasha says that’s a bad idea.
Sasha explains Willow only sees herself as a victim, and he will not only make her one by berating her, but he’ll set Drew up to play her hero once again. Jason asks what he’s supposed to do. Sasha says nothing, as he has no legal authority here. She tells him he must stand down and let this go. Jason says it’s frustrating, and someone needs to talk sense into Willow. Sasha thinks nobody can, it’s as if she’s in another cult, only this time it’s Dawn of Drew.
Nina Tries to Keep the Peace
At Drew’s, Wiley gushes to his mom and Drew about how much he loves his new room. Wiley runs off, and Willow tells Drew that he’s made Wiley and her so happy.
Nina arrives, with a package left in the driveway for Congressman Cain. She puts emphasis on saying Cain. Willow hates that Tracy forced Drew to give up his family name, but Drew says he wants nothing to do with the Quartermaines. Nina councils cutting ties with Monica would be a huge mistake. Drew says Monica cut ties with him, but Nina says Wiley and Amelia love Monica and vice versa. Nina says they may want to play nice with at least one of the Quartermaines, so it would behoove them to have Monica in their corner. Willow admits it’s not a bad idea.
Willow leaves to help Wiley put sheets on his new bed. Drew tells Nina she better watch herself and not wear out her welcome in his house. She says she is trying to keep the peace between Willow and Michael’s family, and they can’t antagonize the Quartermaines any further. Drew is not afraid of the Quartermaines and will protect Willow himself. Nina knows that’s what he wants, to be her savior once again. Drew says he just wants Willow to be happy, and she hates that Willow is happier with him than with her.
A Meeting with Sidwell
At The Metro Court, Carly talks with Jack about Joss, who she insists will come around to them being together. She also says she had a talk with Jason, and this won’t affect their friendship. Jack notes his dad is free, so she can have him all to herself.
Maxie and Lucy meet with Sidwell to talk business. Maxie still has reservations and says they are a reputable business and screen every import they receive. Sidwell assures her she has nothing to worry about and welcomes any protocols and safeguards she has put in place. Lucy thinks they should sign the contracts. Maxie asks if they aren’t going to wait for Tracy, but Lucy sees no need.
They go out to the balcony, and Sidwell points out his ship in the docks and shows them a sample of the zincite, which he pulls out from his pocket in a vial. Lucy says it’s beautiful in its natural form, so Jenz gives her the vial and sample.
They head back inside when Tracy arrives. Lucy calls to her, but Tracy ignores her and interrupts Carly and Jack. Tracy informs Carly that while she’s doing “this…” Willow has moved her grandchildren into Drew’s house. Carly exclaims, “What!” Tracy says Jason said he’d take care of it, but she has doubts. Tracy says she’s trusting Carly to deal with this for Michael’s sake and Monica’s, who hasn’t seen the kids in weeks.
Tracy finally joins the Deception table and announces the deal with Sidwell isn’t happening as she won’t sign. She spoke to Lulu about Sidwell keeping Lucky locked up. Maxie says Lulu already told them that, and Lucy jokes that Lucky is a Spencer and is used to being kidnapped. Lucy thinks this is about Tracy trying to destroy her company. Tracy points out a company she owns fifty-one percent of. She isn’t trying to destroy anything. She’s trying to stop them from doing business with an international criminal.

Sidwell insists his business in Port Charles is legitimate. Maxie tells Tracy they’ve vetted Sidwell and even put a morality clause in his contract. She says this is Sidwell’s chance to prove he is who he says he is, and Deception’s future rides on this contract. Tracy signs the contract, and Sidwell thanks them and heads out. Tracy warns Lucy this has the potential to go very wrong. Lucy says, “Or very right.”
Jack Sends Carly On a Collision Course
Back at their table, Jack asks Carly what she will do about the Willow situation. She wishes she could go over there, lay into Willow, and tell her she’s not moving her grandchildren in with Drew. Jack asks, “Why don’t you?” He says this is an opportunity for Willow to learn you don’t mess with Carly Spencer.
Sidwell heads to the elevator and runs into Jack. Jack gives him the heads up on Silenski’s death in Toronto, but Jenz doesn’t know what that has to do with him. Jack says he’s just saying that people who cross Sonny often come to a bad end. He would hate for the WSB to have to get involved if whatever this is going on with Sonny continues. Jenz calls him on his bluff, but Jack warns him not to underestimate him.
Back at Drew’s, Willow tells Nina and Drew that after talking with Wiley, she has decided to take the kids to see Monica. Drew suggests maybe it would be better for Monica to come here, as it will be confusing for them to go back to their old home. That’s when Carly arrives…
Jordan and Laura Conspire
Laura meets Jordan at her apartment. Jordan asks for a favor, one that is to stay between them. She needs Laura to fire her. Laura asks why she’d do that? Jordan explains she has an opportunity to find out what Sidwell is up to, but she can’t with her current position. She says Sidwell made her an offer to be his lobbyist.
Laura says it will be hard to justify Jordan’s termination, given everyone knows they work well together. Jordan points out there is one thing that they don’t see eye to eye on: Sonny. Jordan suggests they find a way to disagree about her ties to Sonny publicly. Laura has an idea. She explains Ezra tried to publish an opinion piece through Aurora on her and Sonny, but Curtis killed the story. Ezra also suggested they let the public vote on where they want the esplanade. She says she could announce the esplanade referendum, and that’s when Jordan can criticize her about being buddy-buddy with Sonny, and she doesn’t support her choice. Jordan says then Laura could fire her on grounds of insubordination.
Laura warns Jordan that Sidwell is a dangerous man. Jordan is okay doing this but feels the political fallout for Laura will be very real, so is she okay with this? This could backfire with her constituents. Laura says Ezra is going to make enough trouble for her, and if it keeps Port Charles safe from Sidwell, then they have to do this.
Sonny Calls it Quits with Natalia
Sonny takes Natalia to his restaurant to talk without Sidwell around. He says she clearly knows the guy and asks about her connection with Sidwell. Natalia finally admits that Jenz is her ex-husband. Sonny notes Brick did a background search on her, so how did he miss this? Natalia explains she and Jenz eloped decades ago, and they weren’t married long. The only good thing to come out of their marriage was her son. Sonny assumes that is who she was talking to and asks why she didn’t introduce him. Natalia says her relationship with her son Marco is even worse than her relationship with Alison. Sonny asks why she didn’t tell him about Sidwell when he’s been in town for months.
Natalia is sorry she didn’t tell him about Jenz, but she hoped he had gone away for good. Then, when he got involved in Deception, it was too late, and she didn’t want to ruin the trust between them. Sonny knows Sidwell is up to something, so how does he know she’s not feeding information to him? She insists she hasn’t. She and Jenz barely speak, and she’s told no one about his heart. Sonny says he has told Kristina and Dante what’s going on with his heart, and he’ll tell the rest of his family, but that is as far as it goes. She’s glad she has his family to lean on. Sonny won’t forget her support these past few months, but now their association must end.
He explains that he has to trust his inner circle and will miss their friendship. Natalia cries that she will too, and asks him to take good care of himself. She quickly departs.
Laura shows up later and warns Sonny that he’s about to be at the center of a political scandal.
On the next General Hospital, Jason intervenes on Carly’s behalf, Willow is shaken, and Kai’s news stuns Trina.
