New Atlanta Falcons CB Cobee Bryant Fueled by Being Undrafted

With a chip on his shoulder, new Falcons CB Cobee Bryant is turning disappointment into determination.

Cobee Bryant, a standout cornerback from Kansas, finished his college career in 2024 with a strong senior season.

The 6-foot, 170-pound Alabama native had four interceptions, 11 pass breakups, one forced fumble, and 26 tackles. He was named First Team All-Big 12 for the third straight year, a rare achievement for a Kansas player. Known for his ball skills and competitive attitude, Bryant finished his career with 13 interceptions and 22 pass breakups in 47 games.

Despite his success and a solid showing at the East-West Shrine Bowl, where he showed off his physical style and strong coverage ability, most experts expected him to be picked in the middle or late rounds of the 2025 NFL Draft. However, he went undrafted, surprising many who believed his talent and production would earn him a spot.

Bryant Fueled by Draft Snub, Ready to Prove Himself

Bryant did not hide his frustration after the draft. In a post on his Instagram story, he wrote, “You crazy if you think 26 corners better than me, wild bro, and I know I worked my a** off.” His message reflected both his disbelief and determination after watching dozens of other defensive backs hear their names called. Now, with a fresh opportunity in Atlanta, Bryant is using the experience as motivation to prove he belongs in the NFL.

The Falcons may have found a hidden gem in Bryant. With his ball skills, competitive edge and strong college resume, he has the tools to make an impact at the next level. Fueled by the disappointment of draft weekend, Bryant is determined to prove he belongs — and he has the talent to become one of the biggest steals of this year’s class.
