New Boston Bruins Star Misses Practice

This new Boston Bruins forward was noticeably absent from today's practice.

The Boston Bruins were back on the ice today as they continue the beginning stages of their training camp. However, a notable newcomer was not present for the practice: Elias Lindholm.

Thankfully, Lindholm's absence does not appear to be anything serious.

While speaking to reporters, Bruins head coach Jim Montgomery said the club was simply being "extra cautious" by having Lindholm sit out practice. Montgomery also noted that Lindholm should be back soon.

While Lindholm's absence may have caused some concern, it is good to hear that he is not expected to miss any significant time. When noting that he is the Bruins' top center heading into the new season, they need him to be fully healthy once the regular season is here.

With Lindholm out, Bruins youngster Matthew Poitras took the former's spot and centered David Pastrnak and Pavel Zacha.
