Mock draft madness continues around the NFL. The New Orleans Saints have four picks in the first two days of the draft - alongside two fourth-rounders, too. Plenty of ammo to improve their older roster.
In the latest collaborative 4-round NFL mock draft from A to Z Sports, New Orleans focuses a bit more on their offense but garners a couple of defensive pieces as well.
Saints' picks in recent collab mock draft
9. New Orleans Saints: Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona
The clear and obvious WR1 in the class. Incredible size. Unreal ball skills. Immaculate production profile and pedigree. The only questions seem to stem from his middling speed, but he's a smooth, flexible route runner at his size that can create separation without elite wheels. - Travis May
This one is seen quite often. McMillan has the upside to be a top wide receiver on a depth chart, as long as his smooth movement and jump ball catch ability translates.
His stature lines up really well with Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed, and he improves the "basketball lineup" style that Kellen Moore has recently discussed for his WR room going forward.
40. New Orleans Saints: Tyleik Williams, DT, Ohio State
After getting Tetairoa McMillan with their first pick, the Saints end up bolstering their defensive line with a high-end run stopper in Tyleik Williams. It's a really nice fit on a defensive line that loves to have bigger athletes. - Tyler Forness
This is a prospect/team fit that makes a ton of sense to me. New Orleans added Davon Godchaux as a run stuffer, but that should not stop you from adding a talent like Williams. While his pass rush prowess is limited, he plugs the middle in the run game.
The Saints' run defense has been incredibly consistent for the past two seasons, and Brandon Staley would try to change that with this selection in round two.
71. New Orleans Saints: Jaxson Dart, QB, Ole Miss
The Saints can't rely on Derek Carr forever, right? Dart has the potential to go in the first round, making him a tremendous value at this point in the draft for New Orleans. - Jon Helmkamp
Dart nearly never makes it this far down the board. If New Orleans doesn't address the quarterback position in round one and they want to make an addition, this would make great sense.
Dart's profile as a prospect shouldn't be a first-rounder, even if he does get taken sometime on night one. This value for him is much improved from that concept and gives fans a new, young QB option to root for in the future, potentially.
93. New Orleans Saints (via WAS): Zy Alexander, CB LSU
You can never have enough corners in the NFL, and certainly not when two of them are relatively unproven like the duo in New Orleans. Alexander stays close to his alma mater and has a chance to compete in the Saints' defensive backfield. - Rob Gregson
Alexander stays home here, and he also fills a notable need for the Saints' defense. Their cornerback room is inexperienced and lacks depth at the moment. Won't shock me if they address it even earlier than this or multiple times during this year's draft. I like this pick.
112. New Orleans Saints: Cam Skattebo, RB Arizona State
Despite the extension, the Saints could move on from Alvin Kamara after 2025 due to his wildly high cap hit. Cam Skattebo would be a fun, physical, versatile starter of the future for New Orleans whenever Kamara is gone. - Travis May
Skattebo would be an awesome complement to Alvin Kamara in New Orleans' backfield. He runs with a ruthless motor and is a powerful people mover out of the backfield. Would be a great change of pace for the veteran RB for the Saints - love it. Not to mention, getting him in the early fourth round is awesome value.
131. New Orleans Saints: Trevor Etienne, RB Georgia
Alvin Kamara signed an extension in the middle of the 2024 season, but the team had little confidence in Kendre Miller last year and moving to find a more suitable backup like Etienne could be in play for the Saints. - Rob Gregson
Taking another running back would be a bit odd, but Etienne is an intriguing athlete but was really inconsistent with Georgia. This would put a ton of pressure on Kendre Miller to earn a roster spot with a new regime.
