Round 1 – Pick 9 – Kelvin Banks Jr., Offensive Tackle, Texas
This is a no-nonsense pick from the New Orleans Saints, covering a need with a day one starter. The selection marks the second year in a row that the Saints have chosen an offensive lineman in the first round, rebuilding the position group for the future.
In 2024, it was Taliese Fuaga, who started the entire season at left tackle in his first season in New Orleans. He was a right tackle in college, and perhaps moves back there now with Kelvin Banks Jr. arriving.
