New Romance for General Hospital’s Nina? A Second Chance at Love!

General Hospital could be gearing up for a possible romantic storyline for Nina (Cynthia Watros) with the perfect crossover — Port Charles gets a taste of Bachelor Nation. The Golden Bachelorette contestant Guy Gansert was the runner-up in trying to win Joan Vassos’ heart, but now, he’s going to have to woo Nina to accept his rose. He’s playing the passionate wildlife photographer, Geoffrey Beckett, who catches the Crimson editor-in-chief’s eye on the Wednesday, March 12 episode.

His work — and his good looks — seem to pique the interest of Nina, who gushed in a sneak preview clip on People, “If I may say, for a man of the wild, you clean up very nicely.” She swooned over the sharp-dressed man, who appeared equally as smitten in the scene. As a superfan of General Hospital going back to his college years, that’s exactly what Gansert hopes will happen.

The retired ER doctor thinks Geoffrey can bring a little wildlife to Nina if the show will have him back. “Before I went on the show, I was happy just to have one chance to see what it is like behind the scenes. Now, I had so much fun, and I feel like I could take being comfortable in front of a camera to a more relaxed and excellent level,” Gansert pleaded in his interview with the media outlet. “GH, just give me one more chance!”

General Hospital might be open to the possibility 

General Hospital isn’t shying away from that possibility as they played into the hype on their Instagram account. “We’ve never seen so many roses in Port Charles. 🌹@guyggansert guest stars on #GeneralHospital next week – don’t miss it! 💛 @watros.watros @goldenbachabc #GH #TheGoldenBachelorette,” the caption teased. Watros and Gansert also were game to play into The Golden Bachelorette crossover.

Watros, in character as Nina, toyed with a rose as she pulled petals off the flower and sadly uttered, “He loves me, he loves me not… if only I had someone to give this to.” Don’t worry, there’s a reality star ready to accept your rose, Nina.

“I’m here to see Nina Reeves,” Geoffrey said as he stood in the doorway of her office.

She replied seductively while toying with the rose, “I’m Nina Reeves.” And then with full camp, looked at the camera and meowed with approval.

It looks like Nina is ready for the most dramatic season ever as Geoffrey takes her on a journey of a lifetime — or, at least an episode.
