Kraven the Hunter's box office predictions are on track to break a Marvel movie record for Sony's Spider-Man Universe.
J.C. Chandor's upcoming Kraven the Hunter is the first R-rated movie in Sony's Spider-Man Universe, and it will introduce at least three new Spider-Man villains in the franchise: the titular Kraven, Rhino, and Kraven's brother Chameleon.
Kraven the Hunter will release only two months after Venom: The Last Dance, which is tracking behind Sony's previous two Venom movies at the box office.
Per BoxOfficePro, Kraven the Hunter is projected to earn $20-25 million domestically throughout its first three days in theaters.
This figure is considerably lower than Morbius' $39 million domestic opening weekend. It could also match Madame Web's abysmal six-day $25.8 million opening earnings.
