The New York Jets appear to be nearing the end of their experiment with Aaron Rodgers, who struggled with injuries and inconsistent play over two uneventful seasons in New York.
While Rodgers may not have a future with the Jets -- who are still deciding their direction under a new head coach and general manager -- one NFL insider believes he could land in a seemingly unlikely destination in the coming season.
Speaking at the 2025 Pro Bowl Games, ESPN's Mina Kimes suggested the Tennessee Titans would be a good fit for Rodgers. Kimes noted that the Titans are expected to take a quarterback with the No. 1 overall pick, one who could act as the understudy to Rodgers.
"This feels like a potential Aaron Rodgers destination: the Tennessee Titans," Kimes said. "Because I don't think they're gonna draft a quarterback, I do think that they're gonna go the veteran route—I suspect, and his style of play, that style of offense, does mesh well with Brian Callahan.
"Your priority now is to address the roster. If Aaron Rodgers is playing, you know it's not for more than a year so your priority would be to bring him in, let's get the offense going and then let's focus on the offensive line, playmakers, and the defense needs work."
While that may fit for the Titans, it's not clear if the 41-year-old Rodgers would be willing to spend one of his final NFL seasons as part of a rebuilding project. The Titans had a league-worst 3-14 record last season.
