NFL analyst gave a super bold take about the 2024 Colts

The Indianapolis Colts aren't typically listed amongst other contenders in the NFL. 

But Blaiden Kirk of Fan Dule and the Stay Hot podcast is hopping on the Colts bandwagon.

Kirk is high on the Colts roster for next season, and he listed five reasons why. The boldest take he shared being that he believes the Colts have "The best defensive line in football." 

There are some great defensive lines out there, such as the Dallas Cowboys, the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Cleveland Browns, and more. The Colts finished last season fifth in the NFL in sacks with 51. And they did that without a single elite edge rusher on their roster. But this offseason, they chose to use their 1st round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft on Laiatu Latu, who has been arguably the best pass rusher in college over the past two seasons. 

If Latu is able to hit the NFL stage running and be that true elite number-one edge rusher, Kirk's statement about the Colts' defensive line could certainly become true. If it does, that would be a massive step towards the Colts catapulting themselves into the contender tier. And if that happens, Kirk will look like a genius for being one of the first people to call the Colts defensive line the best in the NFL. He didn't just join the Colts bandwagon; he essentially decided to drive it himself with this post.
