According to NHL insider David Pagnotta, one name that has been floated around in trade talks is prospect Ben Danford. Danford was selected in the first round of the 2024 NHL draft by the Maple Leafs.
If Toronto is indeed looking to trade one of its top prospects, the return would certainly need to be well worth it. Last season in the OHL, Danford scored five goals and 20 assists.
