NHL Trade Rumors: Bruins' Pavel Zacha Linked To 2 Teams

Boston Bruins forward Pavel Zacha has been discussed in the rumor mill as a trade candidate this off-season, just like he was during the 2024-25 season. With Zacha being one of the Bruins' top forward and under contract until the end of the 2026-27 season, it would likely need to take a significant offer for them to NHL Trade Rumors: Bruins' Pavel Zacha Linked To 2 Teams cover image

Based on a recent report, Zacha is starting to generate some interest around the league. In their latest trade board, The Fourth Period reported that the Vancouver Canucks and Utah Mammoth are two teams linked to Zacha.

When looking at the Canucks' roster, it is understandable that they would have an interest in Zacha. Pius Suter recently left them through free agency to sign a two-year deal with the St. Louis Blues. Furthermore, they also have had another hole at the center position since they traded J.T. Miller to the New York Rangers. Thus, landing a player like Zacha could give their middle six a much-needed boost.

The Mammoth could also use some help down the middle. Zacha would give them an upgrade at their second-line center spot if acquired, which is certainly a need for them. In addition, the Mammoth have been actively improving their roster this summer, as they recently added JJ Peterka and Nate Schmidt. Bringing in Zacha would only be another step in the right direction as they look to become a playoff team. Thus, it would be understandable if Utah made a push for Zacha.

It will be interesting to see what happens with Zacha this off-season from here. Given the moves the Bruins made this off-season, trading him is probably not the best course of action. However, that likely won't stop teams from expressing interest.
