'No Surprise' Who Bills Midseason MVP Is

The Buffalo Bills have entered their bye week on a six-game winning streak after handing the Kansas City Chiefs their first loss of the season.

With Joe Brady's offense scoring 30+ points in their last five games and the defense being stout as usual, only allowing, on average, 19.5 points per game, the Bills' game as a whole seems to be in good order.

But with the team flying at 9-2 and having eyes for the No. 1 seed in the AFC, who has been the MVP through the first part of the season? WKBW's Dom Tibbets gives his selection.

“It’s no surprise, Josh Allen is the MVP here through 11 weeks,” Tibbets said. “Allen has 18 passing touchdowns, another five rushing, and five interceptions. He’s undoubtedly the main reason for the Bills' success on offense.”

In truth, is there anyone else?

Allen was a beacon of consistency for the Bills early on in the season, with his ability to not turn the football over a key reason why Buffalo managed to keep stacking the wins.

Josh didn't throw an interception in the first seven games of the season, which helped the Bills continue to plow forward and even overcome their two-game losing streak.

With a supporting case that, before the arrival of Amari Cooper via trade, didn't have a No. 1 receiver, Allen was doing his best work with players who the Bills picked up from other teams in the offseason.

Draftee Keon Coleman, Mack Hollins, and Curtis Samuel were all key parts of the offensive puzzle, and Allen has made it work superbly thus far.

He's in good form, is the team leader, and is playing like an MVP.
