General Hospital has done a bang-up job of turning Drew from a hero into a heel — maybe even too good a job. (Just look at his ever-growing list of misdeeds.) But one offense was so stunningly low that it even shocked Katelyn MacMullen, who plays Congressman Cutthroat’s newly minted fiancée Willow.
Remember when Drew staged a scene in which little Wiley overheard him telling Ric that, now that baby Daisy had arrived, Michael no longer wanted his OG kids? Of course you do. Well, MacMullen may never forget it. She only found out what Drew was up to when she turned on the TV in her dressing room.
“I was like, ‘Oh noooo,’” the actress tells Soap Opera Digest. “And my heart just broke for little Viron [Weaver, Wiley], because he did an amazing job at looking so mortified. I was like, ‘This is insane!’”
And things may get even crazier before they get saner. With Drew throwing his weight around left, right and center, pushing one character after another to the brink, he could be painting a target on his back. If — or should we say when? — somebody takes a shot at him, there will be no shortage of suspects. (Lord, look at ’em all!)
What’s more, many a fan is speculating that Willow’s deteriorating mental state is going to leave her with a split personality (thus facilitating Erika Slezak’s visit as One Life to Live’s Viki).
