Just when you think you’ve had a bellyful of Love Island, and the fatigue has well and truly kicked in – the unthinkable happens. ITV has clearly not been reading the moans and groans on social media – because the channel has just declared that Love Island All Stars is getting its own spin-off exclusively filled with All Stars Islanders and it’s called Love Island Mega Stars. Not being funny, but I cannot be bothered. The three time Islanders are definitely racing to get their bags packed – you just know Casey won’t be missing this one.
‘More is more’
After the first season of Love Island All Stars showed us the same faces we’ve all seen on reality TV and Instagram for years upon end back on our tellies, we then got an even more groan worthy season this year with even more people we didn’t care about seeing more of.
For some reason, viewers loved Casey O’Gorman coming back for his third attempt at growing Instagram followers and being an all-round menace so much they crowned him the winner of season two, Casey was quick to comment on if he’d be right there in the villa once more for the inaugural Love Island Mega Stars. “It doesn’t matter that I’ve won it or that I’ve got a girlfriend now – if there’s a free holiday and an opportunity to cause drama, I’m not missing it,” he chuckled.
