Only one of the Colts' 2025 draft class remains unsigned after the team announced seven have signed their rookie contracts

The Indianapolis Colts' official website announced that they have signed seven of their 2025 NFL Draft selections.

With the team making eight selections in this year's draft, this leaves one last player yet to sign their rookie contracts.

Colts second-round pick JT Tuimoloau is the team's final draft pick that remains unsigned

The Colts drafted Ohio State edge rusher JT Tuimoloau in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft. As the 45th pick in the second round, his overall contract terms are set to be a four-year, $9.9 million contract. The holdup here is likely how much of this deal will be guaranteed for Tuimoloau.

Tuimoloau comes from Ohio State, which has one of the largest NIL funds of any program in college football today. So, he probably has more financial negotiation experience than any other Colts draft pick this year. The Houston Texans elected to give their top second-round pick, Jayden Higgins, the first fully guaranteed contract for a second-round pick, which could cause some other second-round picks to pursue the same payout. It is unknown if that is what Tuimoloau is seeking, but I imagine we will see him sign on the dotted line before training camp arrives. There just seems to be some minor details that still need to be worked out between the Colts and Tuimoloau's camp.
