Paige DeSorbo opened up about her newfound friendship with Lindsay Hubbard. It wasn’t long ago that the ”Summer House” co-stars didn’t get along—Hubbard famously left DeSorbo off of her wedding invite list— but Hubbard’s split from Carl Radke and subsequent pregnancy with her first baby, Gemma, changed everything.
In a May 2025 interview with Us Weekly, DeSorbo shared details on the friendship that no one saw coming.
“It was so nice this summer,” DeSorbo said of filming with a pregnant Hubbard in the summer of 2024. “And I feel like the boys couldn’t really understand what we were all feeling, but we were watching our friend have this baby. And, like, I’d never really been around a pregnant person that much, and I certainly have never been around a woman, like, each week where I’m like watching her grow. So, I literally felt like we were in this with her.”
DeSorbo added that Hubbard’s pregnancy was “beautiful to watch.” “Like, it was so intense,” she added. “Gemma is the first baby I’ve ever felt kick in someone’s stomach. I immediately started crying. … And I think it just brought the girls so much closer together because we were like, ‘Our friend is about to do the most incredible thing a woman can do, and we can’t wait to support her.’ So, we were just very Team Lindsay this summer.”

Three months after “Summer House” filming wrapped, DeSorbo went through a difficult breakup from her longtime boyfriend Craig Conover. DeSorbo told Us that Hubbard checked on her more than anyone.
“I honestly said this at the reunion, me and Lindsay probably talked the most of anyone on the cast like this fall. “ she said. “ I was constantly checking in with her on Gemma and she would respond and be like ‘No, I should be checking in on you like what’s going on?’ So we were both very attentive to each other.”

During an April 2025 appearance on “Watch What Happens Live,” DeSorbo confirmed that she is still as close with Hubbard as she was last summer.
“I love her, I’m obsessed with her,” she revealed. “I’m not going to lie, I think I’ve texted with her the most of anyone from ‘Summer House,’ like, this fall. When she got pregnant, it just changed. I don’t know what it was but…she’s a great mom and I’m obsessed with her.”
