Paige DeSorbo revealed she’s freezing her eggs after her split from Craig Conover, and she shared why she’s doing it. Meanwhile, Craig escaped to the Caribbean for a getaway trip.
Weeks ago, the Summer House star revealed that she and Craig broke up. Days later, her Southern Charm ex suggested that Paige initiated it. During their relationship, Paige and Craig discussed the idea of having kids, though Paige seemingly wanted to wait longer than he did.
On the January 28 episode of her Giggly Squad podcast, Paige explained she’s “going in for [her] first appointment” to “freeze [her] eggs.”
She said the “huge” decision was something that she “always knew” she’d do.
“I have wanted to do it … I would probably say like last year — probably in the spring — I was like, ‘OK, in 2025 I’m freezing my eggs,’” the star shared, via Page Six. “I had like a list of things I wanted to get done in the month of January … So that was like one of my goals, and I made my first appointment.”
“The only thing is I have to pick two weeks that I’m gonna be home because I have to do the shots at the same time every night, and I think they have to be in the refrigerator,” Paige continued. She said she’ll probably do it during “the beginning of March” after her podcast tour concludes.
“[I’ll] do the shots and the retrieval,” explained Paige, who shared she wants the “safety” of knowing she took the right steps for her fertility journey in the future.
“When I first decided to freeze my eggs it wasn’t like, ‘Oh my god [it’s for] my career,’ like I genuinely thought at 32 I would have a kid,” the star added. “But always in the back of my head, I was like, ‘What if I get to 39 or 40, and I’m like, wait I want one more.’ So that was always my thought process on freezing my eggs.”
Initially, Paige wanted to freeze her eggs to have more options.
“Now it’s different,” she explained. “I need it as like security, I think, but it is making me relax a little bit, though, knowing that I’m doing it.”
Around the same time, Craig took a trip to the Caribbean. In a January 28 Instagram post, via The Daily Dish, the 35-year-old shared pics from Curaçao as he enjoyed the beach, scenic views, and tourist spots.
He also uploaded snapshots of the Grand Café Gouverneur De Rouville, St. Anna Bay buildings, outdoor games, and a cheese spread. At one point, he worked out at the gym in his resort.
