Craig even added fuel to the flames at last year’s BravoCon when he said he would pop the question whenever the Summer House star was ready.  However, in an all-new interview, the couple discusses dealing with ‘hate’ over their relationship and not rushing an engagement.

Currently, Craig and Paige split their time between New York City and Charleston, South Carolina. Now, the couple is speaking out about the pressure to take the proverbial next step in their relationship. According to Craig, he no longer feels the pressure to propose to Paige. Instead, they are enjoying having a bit of a long-distance relationship despite always being together.

In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, Craig, who is 34, said, “It’s funny how things evolve and change. I think there was so much pressure on that from the outside world, and that that’s what I would say ‘normal couples’ did, that we were talking about it so much.”

Craig went on to say that he is “lean[ing] into the long-distance thing” with Paige, who is 30. Additionally, he compared their time together to a Venn diagram in order to illustrate how each of their home bases, his in South Carolina and hers in NYC, cross over. He also stated that they are always together.

In agreeing with Craig’s sentiment, Paige said, “We have two homes, and I feel so chic!”

Paige also said that the Southern Charm girls are all really nice to her and helped make her feel at home in Charleston. According to Paige, they have become her new group of girlfriends.

“All of the Southern Charm girls have been so lovely and so nice to me, and I’m really so thankful because coming into a new group of girlfriends is hard for anyone,” says Paige. “Olivia [Flowers]’s been so sweet and Madison [LeCroy] and Venita [Aspen] is always up in New York, so I’m really thankful that they’ve been so nice to me.”

Paige also addressed dealing with the hate they got earlier on in their relationship.

“We don’t put a lot of weight into people hating us,” she says. “I don’t think we do it with people loving us either because we know how reality TV is and how quickly things can change. But we are extremely thankful and we obviously love meeting fans. It definitely is one of our favorite parts of our job.”

Not only are the Southern Charm star and the Summer House star happier than ever, but they now also have business ties. The pair recently launched The Paige Collection 2.0 via his Sewing Down South company. Currently, the collection features designer pillows inspired by the couple’s life. The couple serves as the models for the new line of bedding.

According to the official website, Craig and Paige’s collection is “a little naughty with a dose of black cat energy, and highlights the fun differences between our two home cities.”

Of course, Sewing Down South features various collections, including outdoor apparel, indoor items, and various inserts. He first opened the flagship store in 2021.
