Forward Marc Johnstone scored in regulation for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (7-2-0-0), which has won four consecutive games.

Forward Sam Houde scored two goals for Wheeling (4-3-0-0) while linemate Jordan Martel contributed a goal and two assists.
