Ever since her dramatic divorce from ex-husband Apollo Nida, Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Phaedra Parks has preferred to fly solo. Until now, that is.
On November 23, during the Tour de Wives panel at Bravo Fan Fest, Phaedra spilled the tea about the new man in her life.
“Yes, I’m dating,” Phaedra admitted when a question came up about her love life. “It’s delicious.”
Would Phaedra Parks ever get married again?
Not only does Phaedra have a new guy, but she promised we’d see him on both Married to Medicine Season 11 and RHOA Season 16. Then she spilled the most shocking detail about her new man: “You know, he’s young … very early 30’s … I like to have fun.”
But that’s all she would divulge, so we’ll just have to wait to see him on both shows.
When the subject came up whether Phaedra would ever get married again, she was pretty clear, sort of, about her intentions. “I don’t want to be married again,” she said. “Well, you know, maybe. That’s not something I’m interested in, because I’m very wealthy, and I can take care of myself.”
“I like to be able to call the shots,” she continued. “Women, you know, when you have a husband, sometimes you gotta be … nice,” she added with a grimace.
It’s not the first time the mom of two expressed her intentions of remaining single. She previously clarified her feelings about ever getting married again on Married to Medicine Season 10. “I don’t think you have to put a label on something,” she said at the time. “I think for people who are high-income people, it’s too dangerous to get married.”
Would Phaedra date a cast member’s ex?
But would she ever date one of her cast members’ exes? When that question came up, Phaedra answered with an emphatic, “Hell, no!”
“There’s too much sand at the beach to recycle the sand,” she joked. “I would just be grossed out by that … For me, it’s a no-no.” I’m with Phaedra. No sloppy seconds. Besides causing drama, it’s just gross.
As far as her relationship with Apollo, Phaedra told Andy Cohen several months ago on Watch What Happens Live that things were going well with her ex.
“Co-parenting is going great,” she said. While her two sons are “most definitely” with her full time, Apollo does take them “for the weekends.”
“He likes to take them,” she noted.
Fired from RHOA following Season 9 in 2017, Phaedra hasn’t been sitting at home eating bon bons. In addition to Married to Medicine, she’s been working hard on shows like The Traitors and Dancing with the Stars. She was asked back to RHOA after Kenya Moore abruptly left mid-season, She will be returning to Season 16 as a “friend of” the cast.
Married to Medicine airs Sundays at 9/8c on Bravo.
