Philadelphia Eagles 2025 NFL Draft – All picks and analysis as it happens

The Philadelphia Eagles have a Super Bowl title to defend, and some key needs in the 2025 NFL draft. Howie Roseman always has something up his sleeve, and this year will be no different. Breaking down every New England Patriots draft pick as it happens during draft week.

The Philadelphia Eagles have multiple needs in the 2025 NFL draft, including safety, defensive line, and additional depth in the trenches.

Notable Free Agency Additions: QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson (trade w/ CLE), RB AJ Dillon (GB), TE Harrison Bryant (LV), CB Adoree’ Jackson (NYG), LB Azeez Ojulari (NYG)

Round 1 – Pick 31 – Jihaad Campbell, linebacker, Alabama

Somehow, Howie Roseman did it again. Jihaad Campbell was largely considered the best linebacker in the 2025 class, but fell just far enough to become a Philadelphia Eagle late in the first round.

The Eagles traded up one spot with the Kansas City Chiefs to make sure they got their guy, who will now be the latest blue-chip college talent to join the Eagles’ front seven.

Philadelphia had a couple of needs on their defense going into the draft, and they covered one here. Campbell had eight sacks in 2024. He can play off the edge, or in coverage, and will bring yet another energetic mentality to the Super Bowl defending champions.

Round 2 – Pick 64 – Andrew Mukuba, Safety, Texas

Andrew Mukuba is one of the most talented safeties in the 2025 NFL draft, and he’s exactly what the Philadelphia Eagles needed to reinvent their safety unit.

Mukuba spent the early years of his college career at Clemson before transferring back to his home state in 2024. He is a real difference maker on the back end, who excels as a free safety playing sideline to sideline.
