Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley put their differences aside on Monday night as they reunited to celebrate the 61st birthday of Lisa Rinna with Erika Jayne.
Just weeks after Kyle, 55, admitted that things between her and Dorit, 48, were “not great,” and that it was “unfortunate” that they couldn’t support one another as they navigated their separations, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars had dinner with Lisa, who turned 61 on July 11, and Erika, 53, at Cipriani Beverly Hills.
“Dorit and Kyle have clashed this summer, but they were able to come together for Rinna’s birthday,” a source told Page Six on July 16. “They both know their fallout isn’t forever and are hopeful they can work through their issues. Neither wants to give up on the friendship.”
During their night out on Monday, which served as a Fox Force Five reunion, sans Teddi Mellencamp, 43, Kyle, Dorit, Lisa, and Erika, all of whom wore black, were said to be in great moods as they engaged in conversation before saying their goodbyes. And according to Kyle, who spoke to an awaiting photographer, she enjoyed the meal with her “girls.”
As RHOBH fans will recall, Kyle and Dorit were involved in a number of tense moments amid season 13 before reaching their breaking point with one another at the reunion, where Dorit slammed Kyle for sending her a “manipulative” and “calculated” text the night before in an alleged effort to convince her to keep certain aspects of their drama off-camera.
Although Kyle insisted she did not send it with intentions to “silence” Dorit, claiming she was “very hurt” that Dorit shared the message publicly, she later confirmed to Us Weekly that their relationship had remained strained.
“We’re both going through different but similar situations. So it is unfortunate that we’re in this position,” she added.
In other RHOBH news, Dorit recently stepped out to celebrate her own birthday (she turned 48 on July 14) with her newest co-star, Bozoma Saint John, 47, and some friends.
“Dorit celebrating her birthday with Boz!” Dorinda Deadly wrote in the caption of a couple of photos shared on their X account on July 15.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 14 is currently in production and expected to begin airing on Bravo sometime later this year or early next year.
