The host of the gossip podcast Deux Moi clapped back at Andy Cohen for denying he had knowledge about an upcoming “big announcement” at Bravo, and the podcaster revealed her alleged DM exchange with Andy. She also shared the “twist” regarding a new franchise soon to be announced.

Earlier this year, a source told Deux Moi that Bravo would announce something big in the upcoming months. At the time, the podcaster theorized it had something to do with the power structure at Bravo. Others suggested that Andy is stepping down in some capacity, perhaps from his show Watch What Happens Live. The podcast host also wondered if it was related to The Real Housewives of New Jersey, which has been on hiatus for nearly a year.
But last week, Andy denied that anything huge will be announced. He claimed, however, that the network will announce new shows in May at upfronts. Back in February, a report hinted that The Real Housewives of Rhode Island and The Real Housewives of Seattle are test filming.
On the March 20 episode of the Deux/U podcast, the host addressed Andy’s suggestion that he doesn’t understand where the podcaster is getting her “bad intel.”
“Well, Andy, yeah you do understand because we had a DM conversation about this specific intel,” said the podcaster, via @breakingtherulespodclips on Instagram. “So you knew everything that I told you about it, and he knew it was about a new franchise ’cause I kind of suggested that in the DM conversation we had.”
“And he [told me], ‘Oh, well that’s not a big deal,'” the host went on. “So yes, it is a new franchise coming, and it is a city that’s been suspected.”
But the podcaster added that there’s a “twist.”
“Somebody from another franchise will be in this new franchise,” she said. “That’s what the big twist was. So, I don’t know if it’s bad intel. I don’t know if it’s really happening, but that’s what the big announcement was.”
The host said she initially believed the announcement was something “structural within Bravo,” but the reality is more “anticlimactic.”
