In addition to their affiliation with The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Porsha Williams and Kim Zolciak have something else in common: They're both navigating difficult public divorces.
Porsha filed for divorce from Nigerian businessman Simon Guobadia in February 2024, while Kim and Kroy Biermann have been on-and-off in their separation since May 2023.
Though Kim and Porsha haven't shared the screen together since Kim last appeared on RHOA as a friend of the ladies on Season 10, they've maintained a friendship. Kim attended Porsha and Simon's wedding in 2022, and they recently ran into each other at a restaurant in Atlanta.
"I saw her at Houston’s maybe about three or four months ago. At Houston's in Atlanta, and she looked amazing," Porsha said on the April 27 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen when asked about her friendship with the mom of six. "Both of us were super stressed that day, we had court both of us, but I just told her, let’s just push through."
She had even more advice for Kim.
"Let's just push through, bitch, let’s eat good, find somebody to pass the time away and make it through this mess," The Pursuit of Porsha author continued.
Is Porsha Williams divorced?
More than a year after filing, Porsha has yet to finalized her split from Simon. "I’m still in our home," she told host Andy Cohen and fellow guest Gizelle Bryant on the April 27 episode of WWHL. "We're going to court very soon so I may be divorced within the next week or so."

Is Kim Zolciak divorced?
Nearly two full years after separating, Kim and Kroy have not finalized their split. Kim's second daughter, Ariana Biermann, confirmed their marital status during a chat with Us Weekly in April 2025. "She just moved into a new house, and she’s really doing great,” Ariana said about how her mom is doing now. "I think it gets hard sometimes. It’s been a really long divorce — two and a half f--king years, and it’s still not even almost done. She’s my best friend in the world."
Ariana added that she's looking forward to her mom's new chapter.
"I hope that she just continues to thrive,” she continued. "She’s been with my stepdad for what? Thirteen, 14 years now? I’m just excited for her to just be a mom. I tell her, ‘It’s your first time in this world too, so I’ll be your mom sometimes when you need it.'"
