Porsha Williams and Angela Oakley’s RHOA Feud Explained

I’m loving Angela Oakley’s presence on the Real Housewives of Atlanta. She is wise beyond her years and more than happy to accept an apology instead of dragging the fight out. The self-made millionaire is as confident as she is self-assured in her life and marriage. However, Porsha Williams was hoping to be a bit messy and rile the new peach up. Thankfully, Angela didn’t give a big reaction, but she was peeved. If I have to be honest, a fight between Angela and Porsha wasn’t something I saw coming. So what is going on between these two?

During the messy dinner at the Vault, Angela was hosting the women for what she hoped could be a nice dinner with friends. But the evening started rocky. While literally breaking bread, Porsha let a shady comment slip, telling the table she had heard a few rumors about Angela’s husband. Angela swatted the “tea” away. She told cameras her “DMs are flooded” with rumors, and so there’s “not a lot that can rock the boat.” The mortgage agent added, “I think a lot of people feel like my husband is my soft spot, so in order to crack the egg if you will, they want to throw a dagger at our marriage or whatever. Now, you can speculate all the hell you want to, but you better not say you know somethin’ about my husband.”

Porsha later joked that she heard the rumors from her cousin, and the women seemed to move on. But fans still questioned what Porsha was hinting at. Before the season began, Wendy Williams had spoken out about Charles Oakley having a baby with another woman. Could this have been what Porsha was trying to bring to the cameras? Whatever the tea, Charles didn’t seem too bothered as he told Angela, “She don’t even know me. She’s barking up the wrong tree. She better hit her brakes a couple times.”

What I really like about Angela is that she takes the high road. She showed this ability when arguing with Shamea Morton. Even though both took potshots at one another’s physical appearance, Angela was happy to accept the singer’s apology when she extended a literal olive branch of peace. Even though Porsha might have tried her best to be messy, Angela didn’t hit back with any low blows. And god knows she has enough ammo. Porsha is going through a divorce battle, arguing with Drew Sidora, and isn’t on good terms with her baby daddy.

Angela is an RHOA star who can handle herself. She definitely isn’t afraid to ask the hard questions and put the other peaches under the spotlight. Until now, Porsha hasn’t really had to contend with a personality like this. Yes, she might have had to battle Kenya Moore once in a blue moon, but “Bye ashy” won’t be working on Angela anytime soon. I’d like to think that Porsha now knows better than to pick on Angela.

Sadly, I don’t think these two are going to be the best of friends. Porsha invites all the women to Nashville for her birthday in a sneak peek for the rest of the season. Everyone except Drew. The two women have been on the outs since P felt a certain way about Drew and Dennis McKinley filming together. The singer and Porsha have lost their footing, and their friendship is floundering. In an attempt to mend the bridge, it looks like Angela might have stuck her foot in it. In one scene, Drew throws shade at Porsha, saying, “Clearly we’re not talking about the real issue, Porsha’s divorce. I’m tryna make music so I can buy a Rolls Royce ‘cause I heard yours might be repoed soon.”

Angela is the messenger between the two and as every Bravo fan knows, that never ends well. In fact, Angela takes it upon herself to invite Drew to Nashville. Naturally, Porsha is livid. Cameras catch her going off on Angela, saying, “What kind of glue is on your f*cking wig?’ You’re not understanding the point of this trip is me!” Needless to say, there is a real war brewing between these two, and fans can bet Bravo cameras will catch it all.
