The relationship between Kenya Moore and Porsha Williams has come a long way over the years. When they joined The Real Housewives of Atlanta in Season 5, they almost immediately had tension. Eventually, it boiled over into that shocking reunion fight that we’ve all seen a million times.
Since then, their relationship has rebounded, and we were all looking forward to seeing them reunite on Season 16 of RHOA. However, things went downhill once Kenya was accused of showing sexually explicit images of newbie cast member, Brittany Eady.
After months of denial, Kenya took “full accountability” for the incident during an interview with Tamron Hall. Of course, Porsha saw it just like the rest of us, and she praised Kenya for taking such a big step.
Kenya Moore got kudos from Porsha Williams
Porsha spoke to People about Kenya’s Tamron Hall interview, and she said that it was “very noble” of Kenya to apologize. After all, apologies don’t come easily in the world of RHOA.
“At the end of the day, everybody’s human. Some people have thresholds, and then you break it and then they go low — or they go all the way to hell,” Porsha admitted.
“But either way, once you recognize that you’ve done something to hurt someone and you acknowledge it? I think, let’s start there,” she added.
Porsha’s sentiment was similar to that of Andy Cohen, who also commended Kenya for taking a step in the right direction. The only person who doesn’t seem sold on Kenya’s apology tour is Brittany. Shortly after Kenya’s Tamron Hall interview, Brittany posted some cryptic messages on her Instagram implying that the beef still wasn’t fully squashed.
“Best part of being authentic, there is no image to maintain. We are all the villain in someone’s story,” Brittany wrote on Instagram.
