According to him, his ex-wife made disparaging remarks about him having erectile dysfunction earlier this year during a back-and-forth they had on Instagram. We know the jokes write themself, but for Simon, this is definitely no laughing matter.
The drama between the estranged couple started when Simon took to his Instagram Story and called her a “witch.” It was one of the many times they’ve taken jabs at each other via social media. This time, Porsha hit back with a series of posts about men’s health and erectile dysfunction. In one post, she shared a graphic talking about the side effects of ED, including “anger, frustration, sadness, and a lack of confidence.”
Immediately, Simon hollered like a hit dog. He took to Instagram and said that Porsha’s claims about impotency were her latest attempt at crafting a “narrative” about him amid their split. Now, he’s taking it a step further according to court documents obtained by In Touch.
On November 21, Simon filed a federal defamation lawsuit against Porsha, claiming that her Instagram posts were defamatory and intentionally inflicting emotional distress with her posts about erectile dysfunction. According to Simon and his lawyers, they were “intentionally crafted” to cast Simon in a “negative and humiliating light.”
The lawsuit explained, “Mr. Guobadia’s relationship with the Defendant became contentious when the Defendant suddenly started making negative, false and misleading statements about him on social media, using her outsized platform to negatively influence public perception of him.”
In the court documents, Simon clarified that he does not have erectile dysfunction, and he’s hoping to win damages from Porsha over the claims. The total amount he’s demanding wasn’t specified, but it’s probably big.
The news of Simon’s latest legal move comes as the two settled another ongoing dispute. Porsha just won the right to film Real Housewives of Atlanta inside their marital home amid the divorce. However, this latest lawsuit makes it clear that she has a long road ahead before she’s fully free from Simon.
