Porsha Williams Is Making a Major Career Move After RHOA Season 16

   

The Real Housewives of Atlanta's Porsha Williams is moving into the world of medicine ... well, sort of. 

Just when you think The Real Housewives of Atlanta's Porsha Williams has reached the peak of her mountain-top success, she continues to raise the bar. 

The latest in her career? She's set to guest star on the sophomore season of NBC’s Brilliant Minds.

Porsha shared the announcement via Instagram on July 31, posting screenshots of the news as covered by Variety and additional publications.

“Brilliant Minds here we come,” Porsha captioned her post, adding a strong-arm emoji. 

A host of Bravolebs shared their excitement in the comments, including Phaedra Parks, Cynthia Bailey, and Kim Zolciak.

Per Variety, Porsha is set to appear as "Bitsy" on the Season 2 premiere of Brilliant Minds. Bitsy is described as "an affluent Upper West Side housewife who sees Dr. Carol Pierce (Tamberla Perry) at her private practice." What's more, "She knows all the gossip about everyone, on every medical board in New York City.” 

Brilliant Minds follows the captivating patient cases of the brilliant and unconventional neurologist Dr. Oliver Wolf (based on the late, real-life Dr. Oliver Sacks, according to NBC Insider), played by Zachary Quinto. 

 

The first episode of the second season premieres Monday, September 22, 2025, at 10/9c on NBC and will stream the following day on Peacock.

What to know about Porsha Williams’ TV career

News of Porsha’s Brilliant Minds appearance is just the latest tick of a box regarding her on-screen accomplishments. The Pursuit of Porsha author was confirmed in June to compete on Season 4 of the treacherous, dagger-wielding Peacock series, The Traitors.

Porsha will be joined by a handful of Bravolebs, including The Real Housewives of Potomac’s Candiace Dillard Bassett, The Real Housewives of New York City’s Dorinda Medley, The Real Housewives of Dubai’s Caroline Stanbury, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Lisa Rinna, and Top Chef’s Kristen Kish. 

“I’m coming for each and every one of you,” Porsha teased in a June 13 Instagram post. 

Away from Bravo, Porsha can count a multitude of TV achievements to her credit. She has acted in Single Black Female 3: The Final ChapterInsecureSteppin’ Back to Love, and Star, just to name a few. 

She also co-starred alongside Vivica A. Fox and Gary Dourdan in the nationwide theatrical remake of Two Can Play That Game, as featured in RHOA Season 10.
